Each spring since 1988, nominations are sought from the Department of Chemistry faculty for an outstanding chemistry alumnus or alumna. The selection has then been made by a subcommittee of the Undergraduate Council. The awardee is invited to attend the annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet and to make a presentation to those in attendance.
