This is an award that was endowed by Professor Emeritus Terence C. Owen, with the intended purpose of recognizing and encouraging outstanding research by undergraduates in the Department of Chemistry. A cash award is presented annually at the Department of Chemistry Scholarship and Awards Banquet in April. The recipient is selected from those nominated by faculty members and the decision is made by members of the Undergraduate Council.
