2008 Raymond Castle Student Research Conference

The Raymond Castle Student Research Conference was initiated as a means to encourage undergraduate and graduate students to present their scientific data in a friendly atmosphere.  The Castle Conference is organized by the students and provides the opportunity for young scientists to develop the necessary communication skills to excel in the future.

When?

The Sixth Annual Raymond N. Castle Student Research Conference will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2008.  Registration begins at 8:30 AM in the NES lobby.  There will be a total of 16 graduate student talks spread out between two sessions (morning and afternoon).  All talks will be in CHE 100.  The poster session (12:40 - 2:45 PM) will consist of 34 undergraduate posters and 15 graduate posters, and will be held in the first floor of NES; lunch will be served at the same time.  Copies of the conference program and the USF campus map are available for download below.

Awards

There will be three awards presented for the top graduate oral presentations.   Additionally, there will be two awards for undergraduate posters and two awards for graduate posters.  View the award winners from 2006 here.
