CMD5 – Center for Molecular Diversity in Drug Design, Discovery and Delivery

Mission: The discovery, design, synthesis and development of new drug lead compounds and drug delivery modes for the prevention and cure of human diseases.

The University of South Florida (USF) Center for Molecular Diversity in Drug Design, Discovery and Delivery, CMD5, takes advantage of existing strengths and cross disciplinary resources in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), The College of Medicine (COM) and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. CMD5 creates a synergy between scientists from several disciplines who will use advances of molecular science to understand the causes of human disease, develop novel methods for its prevention and devise novel treatments.
