Research Areas

Long term plans for the laboratory will be to build on our experience with peptidylglycine a-amidating enzyme to work on other enzymes catalyzing post-translational modifications of proteins and peptides, such as tyrosylprotein sulfotransferase, acyl-CoA:glycine N-acyltransferase, peptidylarginine deiminase, and other oxygenases, such as tyrosinase.
