Chemical Education
Our research revolves around the assessment and development of metacognition use, and its impact on chemistry problem solving. We are also interested in designing strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of learning environments (such as research experiences) in promoting intellectual skills associated with scientific development. Our research uses both quantitative and qualitative inquiry approaches, as well as mixed-methods designs.
