Research Areas

Ryan Luebke is a graduate student in Dr. Mohamed Eddaoudi's group. His current areas of study and research include the design, synthesis, and characterization of metal organic materials and crystallography. Ryan received a B.S. in Chemistry in 2004 and an MBA in 2007. Both degrees are from the University of South Florida.

Design, Synthesis and Characterization of Metal-Organic Materials (MOMs)

  • The design and synthesis of functional pillared MOMs. The approach used involves identifying two dimensional layered materials and modifying the synthesis to include a bifunctional ligand which acts as a pillar to allow the formation of three dimensional frameworks.
