Abe Stern received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of South Florida in 2003. He is currently a graduate research assistant in Dr. Brian Space’s research group investigating nano materials via computer simulation. His research interests include coarse-grain simulation, electronic structure techniques/algorithms/theory, artificial neural networks, and visualization. Additionally, he is a student research member of the Smart Metal-organic Materials Advanced Research and Technology Transfer (SMMARTT) team and is currently working on an interdisciplinary research team funded through a Department of Energy grant for investigating the potential role of metal-organic materials for hydrogen storage.
