Responsibilities
- Designs and modifies Chemistry lab course materials.
- Plans upgrades of laboratory facilities and equipment.
- Maintains and repairs instruments and facilities.
- Orders and dispenses laboratory materials.
- Evaluates, prepares bids and purchases new major equipment for teaching
labs.
- Trains teaching assistants and students in proper instrumental and
experiemtnal techniques.
- Promotes safety of personel using the teaching labs and the safe disposal
of hazardous waste during experiments.
